KIDZ Paris is a book dedicate to Parisian youth, a subjective portrait of the Z Generation, entirely designed and produced by youngsters under 25.
It clusters thirty profiles of young Parisians selected after hundreds of meetings and interviews. They are business owners, creatives, artists, influencers or students. Their genuine testimonies root in their inspiring experience and unconventional path. They share their vision of the world they live in and its future, the role of their friends and their family, their hopes as well as their fears (if any), what they love and what they hate… With their own images and their own crude words, they draw a partial but frank and enlightening portrait of their generation. KIDZ Paris give to them « carte blanche » on all visual and written content that they wished to share, without censoring or diluting their statements.
Through this selection of “self-portraits”, despite some eclectic and sometime chocking point of view, we see the reflect of an ambitious and creative generation who knows how to free herself from rigid rules and conventions.
The portrait drawn by this youth is then confronted to an adult and expert point of view, a selection of professionals, all legitimate in their own field of expertise, who share their feelings about this youth through their own professional specialty (sociologist, psychologist, …).
